If you already using our 1st generation tools XorMon Original, LPAR2RRD and STOR2RRD you might want to migrate data from them to XorMon NG.

This is not actually implemented, however it is planned to be done for some selected platforms like IBM Power Systems and storage devices in the future

Device definition

You can export LPAR2RRD and STOR2RRD devices definitions (include name, IP, user access) and import them into Xormon NG for fast start up.
Follow this procedure.


Generally you can run XorMon NG and our 1st gen tools simultaneously to monitoring same devices.
Then you collect new data in Xormon NG and you can start to use XorMon NG as the primary platform as soon as you want.
